Sarah Medina

Sarah focuses on using evidence-based practices to best support her clients. She believes that creating is a priority for every interaction. Sarah is especially passionate about helping teens and adults work through anxiety, life transitions, and trauma. Goals in therapy are to guide clients with practical skills and tools to ultimately create their best future selves. Sarah has been a passionate volunteer in the adolescent and young adult populations for the last 7 years. 

Sarah has taught general education and special ed in grades K-12. Sarah has experience working with adolescents and young adults with anxiety, depression, ADHD, developmental disabilities, and life transitions. In addition to her bachelor’s degree from Touro College and Master’s from Hunter College, Sarah also studied theological seminary in Jerusalem with a focus on modern spirituality and religion.

Sarah has been a lifelong Brooklyn resident. Her hobbies including reading, strategy games, sports and history. Learning and experiencing different cultures is a focal point of Sarah’s past-times. Other interests include visiting The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Prospect Park, and small intimate cafe’s.
